It was with great sadness that we heard that our friend Alan Powell has passed away. Alan was part of a group of dedicated Tai Chi instructors who were instrumental in getting our Headwaters School of Tai Chi off the ground. We remember fondly our beginnings at his barn, our practices at the river and his unstinting belief that we had something really good to work on. We will keep on working at it! With a thankful heart we bid you farewell.

Sincerest condolences to the family of this amazing man who, throughout his long and storied life, managed to touch and enrich the lives of so many. It is a big regret that I never had the honour to meet Mr. Powell but he fondly lives on in my memory.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Father. I used to do home care for your mom and I really enjoyed going to their home. They were a great couple.I was at your Dad's sale and I bought the desk which was your moms. And a couple ornaments for remembrance. I also remember him doing Tia Chi. Amazing man.
