Ron Yates

Such a sad time and such a loss. Ron was one of the kindest and most decent men I have ever known. He was a true mentor to me when I started my career at Sun Life, and over time, he became a wonderful friend. Rod and I always enjoyed our visits with Ron and June and the Ron Yates golf tournament and dinner was something we looked forward to every year. June, you were blessed to call this man your husband, and David and Greg, you were privileged to call him your father. No one was more of a gentle man or a better person. What a legacy he has left with us and what memories his many friends and loved ones have. Cheers to you, Ron.

I was saddened to hear of Ron's passing away. He was one of the nicest men I have met. He was very helpful to me in the Lions Club over the years. Helping out at numerous events and as Treasurer for many years. My condolences to June and his sons and their family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
