Leonard Eccles

Leonard Robert Eccles, of Mount Forest, passed away at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Tuesday, April 16^th, 2019 in his 90^th year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Scott). Loving father of Scott Eccles and his wife Dee, David Eccles and his wife Michelle, Dale Eccles and his wife Ange, and Brian Eccles and his wife Maureen. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Dear brother of Jean and her husband Ron Liebold, and brother-in-law of Hart Dahmen, Bob Shaw and Nora Robb. Leonard will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Dahmen, Pauline Shaw, his sister-in-law Isabel (the late John McMillan), his brothers-in-law Ken (the late Lottie Scott), and Mac (the late Freda Scott) and Gordon Robb. Cremation has taken place. A come and go celebration of life for Leonard will be held at the Egremont Optimist Community Centre, 392137 Grey Road 109, Holstein on Saturday, April 20^th from 1 – 4 p.m., with memories being shared at 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation, St. Andrew\'s Presbyterian Church, or the London Down Syndrome Association would be appreciated by the family.
