Judith Shields

Judith Ann Shields died on the last day of a challenging year – 2018. She was 88 and had spent the past 10+ years at Caressant Care in Arthur, Ontario where she was treated with care, respect, kindness, and a chocolate bar from the vending machine, when needed. Judith graduated from MacDonald College (Guelph) and absolutely loved being a Mother to Daphne, Deborah, Timothy, and Daryl (Dales); she delighted in her grandchildren – Wes, Dani, and Mackenzie; and she had a close relationship with Leah, the daughter of her late second husband – Walter Pressey. In her best years, she was known for her state of the art dinner parties, her love of good fashion and textiles, her love of musicals, and her wacky sense of humour. May she rest in peace, surrounded with bouquets of flowers and exquisite pralines.
