Mervin Wayne Lewis, of Holstein, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Tuesday, September 25th, 2018 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Lynne Lewis (nee Webster). Loving father of Kelly Cherry and her husband Brad, and Jaclyn Dingwall and her husband Ben. Cherished grandpa of Blakely Dingwall. Sadly missed by his brother Don Lewis (Sharon), mother-in-law Sheila Webster, brothers-in-law and sister-in law; Arthur Webster (Danette), Sandra Carey (Bob Gandy), Philip Webster (Marilynn). Proud Uncle of Jay Lewis (Penny), Anson Lewis (Cathy), Leah Webster, Nevin Webster (Kayla), Joel Webster, Michael Carey (Emily Strutt), Christina Nilsson (David), Danielle Winterburn (Craig), Brandon Webster (Savannah Jeavons), Connor Webster, Kyle Webster and families. Predeceased by his parents Wallace and Verna Lewis, his father-in-law John Webster and his brother-in-law Brian Carey. Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest, on Friday, September 28th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.  A funeral service celebrating Mervin’s life will be held at the Mount Forest United Church, 175 Queen Street East, Mount Forest on Saturday at 11 a.m..  Interment at Holstein Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or Cancer Patient Services would be appreciated by the family.
