Condolences

I've only just seen this now in 2022 and it makes me both sad and brings joy to see her face again. We were cousins but Marge was more like an aunty to me. She was spunky, funny and kind and even though i was a bratty teen, she treated me like a young woman. I know she endured some rough times in different ways like several of her sisters. Fun fact, she made a great boiled raisen cake. Her given middle name was after my mom Anne, her aunty, who she loved dearly. I wish I could have connected with her over the later years but it didn't happen. My heart goes out to Gail and to Lynn who I read has since passed as well. Sympathies to all the family close to Marge. Rest easy Marge.

We are sending sympathy to Marjorie's family on the loss of a lovely person. Marjorie was a friend of my parents, the late James and Josephine Feairs of Cedarville. She and my mom re-connected personally when she moved back to Mount Forest, although they had always stayed in touch over the years through letters. For many years, as young men, Lloyd Hockridge, Don Bell and my dad James Feairs sang together in a trio, traveling around the countryside to perform their beautiful harmonies at churches, weddings and garden parties. We always heard news of Marjorie's girls, Lynne and Gail and felt we knew them. On behalf of the Feairs family: Eleanor Mueller

Rest in peace, Aunt Marj. You were an awesome aunt and my mom's sister and threw a baseball better than anyone that I knew. Love your nephew, Guy in Saskatoon

Marjorie and I shared a room at Saugeen Valley Nursing Center. I know she liked when Tara come in with her guitar to sing with her. Gail came in to visit her mom too. Being a distance away, Gail and her mom talked on the telephone, to bridge the miles between them. All of us who knew Marjorie are better for having Marjorie in our lives. I remember her smiles, and quite manner. Fair winds Marjorie
