Condolences

Our deepest sympathy to all of Joe’s family. He and Marion were Hapfield residents and we enjoyed their company and stories. Joe was very kind to his neighbours at the apartment and kept us entertained with his many stories in the past years. He was a kind and generous man who spoke fondly of his family. We hope your good memories will give you strength at this difficult time Sincerely Patti-Jo

We have great memories of your parents in Stoney Creek when l lived there the last month of college. The conversation was always pleasant during my stay. We always had such wonderful dinners with an abundance of food and pleasant interesting conversations during our card games also. We will all have memories that we hold close to our heart. We can never be fully prepared to lose a parent.. but may it give you comfort and peace knowing that you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time with the loss of your Father, Grandfather, Great grandfather. Rest In Peace Mr. Schmidt. With Deepest Sympathy, Linda, Brian Justin & Brittany Mels

We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Joe's passing. I remember hearing of how gracious he and Aunt Marion were when dad visited up North with Christin and Lisa. They said they gained 10 lbs with all the great cooking. I also know how amazingly well you took care of Uncle Joe over the past several years. You truly were gifts given to him. Cherish the memories. Uncle Joe is in a place where the card games never end. Linda

To all of Joe's dear ones, my heartfelt sympathy for your loss of such a special person in your lives. My late husband Jack and Joe kept the Barry's Bay Legion on track for many years. We both enjoyed many happy times with Joe and Marion and I miss them. Most sincerely, Eleanor Hotchkiss, Arnprior, Ontario.pp
