We are very sad to hear of Red's passing and offer our sympathies. I always enjoyed our conversations, as he had the awesome talent of finding a way to make us chuckle. His kind human nature made him the bonding glue on hockey trips, fishing trips and countless card games. We'll hold those memories close, and he'll be sadly missed. Paul, ML, Marlee and Brynn Ament

Your passing has been heartfelt and honoured by so many, Red. I’m still in shock, so it feels surreal writing this. But what I want to say is that everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you will remember your infectious smile, your passion for the outdoors, your positive energy and your kind soul. We will miss you dearly, Red.

We will all miss you tonight and other Thursday Nights for Poker. I will remember you when someone hits their flush draw or their weak starting hands wins the pot. I will also miss you being along during our fishing trips to the French River where if we didn't catch many fish we could play Crib, Risk, Uno or Yahtzee.
