Matilda “Tillie” Harvey, of Mount Forest and formerly of Georgetown, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at the age of 82.  Beloved wife of the late Harold Harvey.  Loving mother of  Darren Harvey and his wife Erin, Cindy and her husband Mark Ferraro, and Andrea Goncalves.  Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Linda), Alexia, Christopher (Tegan), Ashley (Albert), Jacob (April), Shelby, Spencer, and Penelope.  Tillie was predeceased by her longtime companion George Henderson and she will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by the Henderson family.  Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Saturday, March 3rd from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.  A celebration of Tillie’s life will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 114 Fergus Street South, Mount Forest on Sunday, March 4th at 2 p.m.  Cremation to follow.  As an expression of  sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Jacob and family, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your grandma. We are blessed to have met her and she was a delight to talk to. I could have listened to her and all her stories for hours. We will never forget the image of her gentle and bright face and the sound of her laughter. She was a great story teller and we will miss her dearly. Losing someone we love is nothing easy, but knowing that we have been able to be a part Tillie's life, we can realize that we are blessed.
