Ivor Roy Mashford, of Mount Forest, passed away peacefully at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Friday, September 8th, 2017 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret “Peggy”. Loving father of Andy Mashford of Abbotsford, B.C. Dear brother of Reginald Mashford of Scotland. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Florence Mashford, his daughter Ann McDonald, grandchildren Beth, Benjamin and Adam and his sister Dorothy Volkema. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Cancer Patient Services or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. I will miss dad and my mom dearly and will always remember them both as kind loving parents who always worked hard to support the many organizations they worked with over the years, especially their friends within the Lions Club Mono Mills, Ameranth, Orangeville, and Mount Forest, they were my parents closest friends, and I'm thankful for those friends as they made my parents lives so much richer.
