— Mary Allen, September 2, 2017Dear Linda & Dale and families, We lived in your Dad & Mom's backyard at 307 Silverbirch Street for 20 years before we moved to Belleville closer to my son and wife in 2016. We were the start of the whole neighbourhood change - from Florence Nicholson, Ron & Marian Flanigan, Elmer MacDougall, Sandy McMeekin, Marilyn Campbell. We treasured your Dad as our gardening guru and whenever Archie planted, we planted and his gardening advice was wonderful for all his neighbours. Your Mom was always out visiting on the back porch with your Dad whenever we walked by and they both were such wonderful, "salt of the earth" neighbours - as well as Ron & Marian Flanigan. We miss them all dearly but still travel to Mount Forest for visits and catch up. We were saddened to hear of your Dad's and then your Mom's passing and are pleased for our memories and the time spent with them over a 20 year period.
