Joyce Alma Love, of Mount Forest, passes away peacefully at Louise Marshall Hospital on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in her 88th year. Joy was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Long. Beloved wife of the late Carmen Love who predeceased her in 2000. Dear mother of Faye Murphy of Mount Forest, Dean and Linda Love of Elora and Craig Love and Phil of Caledonia. Loving grandmother of Sean and Shannon Murphy, Michelle Murphy, Mark Love and Conar Love. Great grandmother of Ayden Murphy and Brendan Murphy. Also survived by her sister Bud Rundle of Mount Forest as well as many nieces and nephews. Joy was a long time member of the Fireside at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. She had a love for animals and nature and a passion for music and playing cards with friends. Later in life Joy was able to travel and see many parts of the world. She was a gentle person who cared deeply for her family. In keeping with Joy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may gather for a time of fellowship and remembrance at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Mount Forest on Thursday, July 13th, 2017 at 2 p.m. Her final resting place will be Mount Forest Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or the Mount Forest Heritage Society and Archives would be appreciated by the family.
