Ken Smith

Wilbert Kenneth Smith, of Mount Forest, passed away peacefully at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 in his 70th year.  Beloved husband of Linda Smith (nee Carter).  Dear father of Jason and Heather Smith of Florida, Sherry and Andy Rehkopf of Rothsay, Mark Smith, and Karen and Phil Budden of Powassan.  Loving grandfather of Dakota, Carter, Maddie, Braiden, Hope, Wyatt, Gabby and Ally. Great-grandfather of Sawyer and Millie. Brother of Don and Beaty Smith of Mount Forest, Betty and Leonard Weber of Kitchener and brother-in-law of Alva Smith of Mount Forest. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Sadie Smith, his infant daughter Cindy, brother James Smith and sister Norma Davis and brother-in- law Cyril Davis.  Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at the Mount Forest Legion, Branch 134 on Saturday, March 18th, 2017 from 1 – 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to  the Canadian Lung Association or Cancer Patient Services would be appreciated by the family and may be made through the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
