Edith Christena Gordon (nee McGillivray), of Mount Forest, passed away on Sunday, March 5th, 2017 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Garnet Gordon. Loving mother of Kim Dupuis of Elmwood and Rick Gordon and his wife Robin of Tilsonburg. Cherished grandmother of Wendy Amos, Hayden Gordon, Emma Gordon and Madalyn Gordon. Dear sister of Peggy Leifso and sister-in-law of Janis and Bob Dixon, Grant and Margaret Gordon, Helen McGillivray, Ruth and Charles Kuenzig and Donelda McGillivray. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her son Rob Gordon and her brothers Glen McGillivray, Stewart McGillivray and Jack McGillivray. A celebration of Edith’s life will be held at England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Wednesday, March 8th at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 – 12:45 p.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
