David Coates
Coates, David Taylor - passed away peacefully on March 4, 2017 in his 78th year.  David was born in Montreal, Quebec on January 16th, 1940 and was the beloved son of the late Taylor Coates of Oldham, Lancashire, England and Madeline (Harding) of Montreal, Quebec.  David is survived by his loving partner, Patricia Lamb.  He was a proud and loving father of Lori (Randy), Brad (Dagmar) and Jason (Robyn).  Cherished grandfather of Joseph, Meghan and Bonnie and great-grandfather of Brooklyn, Matthew and Rolan.  David is also survived by, and was the dear brother of, Kathryn Dancey (Robert) and uncle of Andrew (Renee) and Tracey (Martin).   David was a proud member of St. Alban\'s Masonic Lodge. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest for your patient care and compassion during the past nine weeks.  Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of David’s life will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Thursday, March 9th at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 – 12:45 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be made at www.englandfuneralhome.com
