Passed away at Saugeen Valley Nursing Home, Mount Forest on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Florence Evelyn Marion Duncan in her 100th year. Florence was born on June 6th, 1917 in Mount Forest, Wellington County. The daughter of the late William Walker Duncan and Margaret Jane Hunter. Florence is predeceased by brothers James Duncan, George H. Duncan, sister Isobel (Duncan) Widdis, brother-in-law William Widdis and sister-in-law Hilda (Small) Duncan. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. As a one on one visiting volunteer at Saugeen Valley Nursing Centre it was my privilege to get to know Florence Duncan this past summer. I so enjoyed her smile, her humour, and her directness. We enjoyed many visits this summer on the front patio at SVNC. I will miss her very much. My sincere condolences to the Duncan family. Florence was a lovely lady.
