Passed away at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Saturday, August 13th, 2016, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean King (Hedges) and the late Elsie King (Divenanzo). Dear father of Linda Soden of Aurora, Richard King and wife Renate of B.C, Helen King and husband Paul of Owen Sound, Yvonne Robinson and husband Tom of Mount Forest, Jason King of London and Lisa Rego of Cambridge. Fondly remembered by his 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Brother of Pat Hamilton and husband Phillip of Scotland and Pamela Holiday of England. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Evelyn King. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at the First Baptist Church, 116 Fergus Street North, Mount Forest on Sunday, August 28th from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Private family interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital, Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
