Betty Carter
Passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Friday, July 22nd, 2016.  Betty June Carter (nee Snider), of Mount Forest, in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late Albert John Carter.  Loving mother of Linda and her husband Ken Smith of Mount Forest, Bob Carter and his wife Jane Newton of Durham and Jeffrey Carter of Mount Forest.  Fondly remembered by her 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Wallace and Joanne Snider of Embro, Dale and Julie Snider of Waterloo and Darrel and Donna Snider of Kitchener, sister-in-law of Joyce Snider of Guelph.  Predeceased by her sisters Ruby Boltz and Rhea Patterson and her brothers Murrel Snider, Ross Snider, Foster Snider and Glen Snider and their spouses.  A celebration of Betty’s life along with a Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary service will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Tuesday, July 26th at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 – 12:45 p.m.  Interment of cremated remains will be held at Mount Forest Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Cancer Patient Services, would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.englandfuneralhome.com

Sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I worked for her and Jack at the Dew Drop Inn (now The Spot) when I was in high school, many years ago. They were great to work with. It was always busy but we had lots of laughs also!
