Condolences

Saddened to hear of Red's passing. Easily one of the coolest guys growing up. I honestly thought he was some kind of celebrity when I was a kid because he was a few years older, and just SO cool.....the clothes, the look, the CAR! I hadn't seen him in a long time, but I'll always remember his endearing smile, love of life and the kindness he always had for me personally during our time in Mt. Forest. I wish I could have told him how much it meant to me -and given him a big hug. Rest peacefully Red, you made this kid's youth a little less awkward by just taking a few minutes every now and then, and offering an encouraging word. And from the coolest guy I could find at an impressionable age...it was everything to me.

Larry and Family - I am so very saddened to read of Lornes passing. He and my sister grew up together at Kenilworth school as did you and I. I lost my sister suddenly on Feb 16th this year - there are no words I can say to make this better - know he is in a better place and free from whatever ailed him. God bless each of you as you struggle through your loss. Sincerely, Donna Bilton {Symons]

Lorne was my neighbor when I was a child and will also be Yorney in my mind as I was unable to pronounce L's! I ran into him a few times in London when we both lived there. We chuckled about the creative wallpaper on the tree house that Darlene and I were not supposed to visit.

My deepest condolences for your family's loss. May your fond memories of Lorne help you at this difficult time.

"Lornie" as I remember him, Sympathies to your family. The Lorne I remember was caring, considerate, always willing to lend a helping hand, loved hockey. Back in the day 30 some odd years ago he lived across the street from my mom and dad on Fergus St. . Lorne worked so hard on reviving the splendour of the house across the street and did a fantastic job. The picture you posted was perfect, it captured the Lorne, Lornie, Red I remember.

May you rest in peace Lorne. You have returned home and the cares and struggles of this world are no more. May your family find comfort. Praying they know that you are with your creator and safe in his arms.

Red, we had a lot of good fun times as kids playing in the cedars on Hugh McQueen\\'s farm. Later, as Kinsmen members, we did our bestest to help not just with cystic fibrosis but the communities\\' needs too. Again, good fun and lasting memories.
