Yake, Archie; at his home in Elmira on Sunday September 3, 2006. Archie Yake in his 66th year. Loved brother of Ben Yake and wife Joanne of Burford, Joan Graham of Brampton, Mary Greig of Orangeville, Alex Yake & wife Annie of Mount Forest and Islay Yake and husband Dennis McCann of Streetsville. Father of Lindell Cumming & husband Steve of Oshawa and grandfather of Cameron and Tyler. Former husband of Delores Sokoloski of Lucknow. Archie is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Islay Yake, brother-in-law Don Graham and niece Islay-Jo Greig. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday September 6th at 2:00p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
