Winslade, Harry; at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Monday May 17, 2010. Henry'Harry' Charles Winslade of Mount Forest in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Ruth (Dally) Winslade. Loved father of Earl Winslade of Southgate Township. Brother-in-law of Reta Winslade of Saulte Ste. Marie. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Charles & Mary Winslade, brothers Gordon Winslade & wife Marion, Ross Winslade, Ralph Winslade and sisters Pearl Winslade and Elda Woods & husband Charles. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Mount Forest United Church on Thursday May 20th at 1:00p.m. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. So sorry to hear of Harry's passing. The Winslade family has had a profound impact on my life. My sister Dorothy and I were the first foster children that Mary (Grandma) and Charles had. That was in 1946. Harry, Ruth and Grandma were our constant mentors and we were close to the whole family. I still tell stories of how Ross and Harry made my first set of skies and how Ross taught us how to ski. We received love and care from the whole family and am most grateful. May all the good memories that you have support you at this time. Harry
