We live next door to Jeff and Jeanette. A couple of years ago I was trying in vain to fix our front steps, when Bob showed up, calmly took over and solved my engineering problems, while regaling me about the joys of playing golf in South Carolina. A gentle man in the truest sense. We will miss his visits.

To the Tone & Stortz families, I just wanted to send my condolances, thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I have very fond memories of the wonderful friendship that my late husband Bev Troup had with Bob. Especially when they were never calling their pals by their proper names, this was very hard to keep straight! I know they are up in heaven having a "cold one"! Bob will be deeply missed by many and always lovingly remembered. Sincerely, Marian (Maidenhead, England)

Busy lives and growing families meant too much time would go by between visits , but regardless of how long it had been I could always be sure I’d hear that old familiar greeting of ‘Hi Shanny’ when we did get together….you will be missed ‘uncle’ Bob – you left us too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with Barb, Paul, Jody and Jeff and the whole family at this difficult time. Shannon, John, Rebecca, Darcy and Sydney McVicar

The picture is exactly the way we wish to remember Bobby. There is going to be a tremendous vacant spot in our lives now that he is gone. We will remember all the good times we had and he will never be forgotten. He was taken too soon and our heart felt condolences to Barb who was constantly at his side and to his children of whom he was very proud.
