Beloved wife of the late Gilford (Gil) Stopps. Loved mother of Sandra Dawson and her husband Wayne of Quinte West, Rev. Gary Stopps and his wife Ruth of Mount Forest, Dr. Richard Stopps and his wife Michelle of Grimsby, Terrance Stopps and his wife Nancy of Coburg and Judith Johnston and her husband Fred of Brantford. Loving grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Shirley Cawthorne and her husband Roland of Port Dover. Predeceased by daughter Lisa Anne. Friends may visit with the family in the Philpott Memorial Church Chapel, 84 York Boulevard, Hamilton (entrance to Church Chapel off York Boulevard) on Thursday July 5th from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Memorial donations to Alzheimer 's Society or a charity of one 's choice would be appreciated by the family.
