Smith, Vernon; at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Monday September 29, 2008. Vernon John Royal Smith of Mount Forest in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte (Herriot) Smith. Loved father of Gary Smith & wife Gwynne of Mount Forest, Cheryl Giardina of Burlington, Rhoda Remisch & husband Andy of Dundas and the late Roger Smith. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ilene Moore of Fergus, Cecil Smith & wife June of Mono Mills and Sherman Smith & wife Joyce of Guelph. Survived also by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday October 2nd at 11:00a.m. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery.
