Loved father of Don Shannon & wife Linda of Listowel, Robert Shannon & wife Nancy of Walkerton, Anna Schmidt & husband Reinhold of Kitchener and the late Howard Shannon. Loving grandfather of Matthew Shannon & Rhonda Hambly, Coranna Horton & husband Jeremy, Drew Shannon, Patricia Shannon & T.J. Hicks, Christopher Shannon & Kassey Wesley, Erik Schmidt & fiancée Naarah McMillan and Lauren Schmidt. Loving great grandfather of Kayden, Lucas, Jacob and Tucker. Predeceased by sister Ethel Arthurs and brothers Percy and Elmer Shannon. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday July 14th at 2:00p.m. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery.
