Condolences

It's March'2012 and I just learned of Alma Ross' passing 6 months ago. My mother, Marjorie McRonald (nee Koenig) of Hanover and Alma were first cousins and good friends. Their family tree connection was follows: Alma's father Jack Leith and Marjorie's mother Alma Koenig (nee Leith) were brother and sister. Their grandparents were David Leith and Isabella Nelson. When my mother Marjorie passed away in 2007, Alma Ross sent me a wonderful letter of her memories of my mother. I am keeping up a Leith and Nelson family tree, and would love to receive updates on their descendants and forebearers. Particularly, I'm looking for the Nelson branches and roots. I'd love to hear from family members. mcronald@sympatico.ca

The Ross Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time Aunt Alma will always have a special place in our hearts. Growing up she always made all of us feel welcome and at home when ever we visited the farm. She made the best chocolate cake in the world!!! Her and Uncle Ken were always there to help Mom anyway they could and I will always remember that. I knew when I phoned Mom between 9 & 10 at night and the line was busy she was talking to Aunt Alma. Sorry we couldn't be there today, but our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Rick, Lynn and Family
