Dorothy Robertson
Robertson, Dorothy; on Wednesday November 21, 2012, bathed in sunshine at home with her family, Dorothy finally found a way to win her battle with cancer. She fought with serenity, with dignity and with awesome inner strength. She 's now on her way to find her late husband Pete; and left her children Dave (Diane), Bev and John (Sherry); her grandkids Brian, Megan, Jordie and David (Sasha); and her great grandchildren Alexandria and Brayden to carry on in her memory. Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday December 8th at 11:00a.m. at the Mount Forest United Church. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. No flowers please; but we know she would have greatly appreciated donations to the Mount Forest United Church Building Fund or to the Grand River Hospital Foundation. On line condolences may be made at www.englandfuneralhome.com

Condolences

Sorry to hear of the loss of your loving father. His impersonations of Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Happiness left us in stitches.

— Burt Reynolds, December 12, 2012

Dear John and the Roberston family. We are holding you close in our prayers and pray that your memories of a beloved mother will sustain you through these dark days. Fred and Catherine Dunlop, Stayner.

David, John, Bev Sorry sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom as well your Dad not that long ago. Disappointed that we were unable to make either service or visitation of your parents. Had planned on making the service for you mom but had company and they did not leave in time. Many fond memories of both when I worked for you family. Certainly looked forward to the coffee that you mom made each and every day and sometimes surprised us with treats. Those were the good times and memories like this are always treasured. As well Bev your baby sitting services that you provided to look after a wee helliun called Kevin. Believe it or not but is as laid back as can be now. As well about 6'3 and skinny as a gray hound. Works as Service Manager of globetrotter RV in Bolton. We can still see the beige chev Malibu that you drove miles with and now days we would be in jail for letting a young teenager take a baby away with no car seats. Take care of each other and cherish the memories that I am sure you all have. Love Joan and Gord Mac Cannell

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. We loved your mom and looked forward to seeing her each week at church. She always had a smile and some fun conversation to share. It has been a blow to a lot of us to lose both your mom and dad. It feels like an important part of our church and our community is missing. We will treasure the fun memories and hope that you will feel some comfort in knowing we are thinking of you.
