Condolences

Hi Deb and family Please accept my Deepest Sympathies for the loss of Phil. Unfortunetly I found out too late of his passing, or else I defintely would have been there. I had worked with Phil at Trim Trends. He was a great person to work with and of course a very Good Friend. Any time I was in Mount Forest, or anywhere else for that matter I would always have the feeling that I would run into Phil and he would always seem to show up. I will miss our "Short" chats. Friends for Life, Margy.

Dear Debbie and family, We are sharing your sorrow at Phil's too early death. I am sorry that I did not hear of it sooner as I would have been happy to share in his Memorial Service. Ron has been ill for almost a year and is still in the hospital as he has been for the last 8 months. I will bring this sad news to him and we will share happy memories of Phil, whom Ron regarded as a dear and special friend. Please accept our sincere condolences. Coffee Culture will not be the same without Phil. Sincerely, Ron and Mary Linseman

We were so saddened to hear that Philip has passed away. I will always cherish the good times we had together growing up. My Father too was very fond of Philip and they had many heartfelt talks. I am sure my Father greeted Philip with open arms and they are catching up with each other. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral because I had a medical emergency a few days ago and just got out of the hospital today. We hope that the wonderful memories will sustain you through this difficult time.

Dear Deb, Lori, Chris, & Mike. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you mourn your Husband, Father, and Grandpa. Phil was a great guy, who was always there to give a lending hand whenever we needed the help. I know Dad was always thankful for the help with blowing out the lane way, taking the garbage out, or just a little visit to pass the day away. I had the opportunity of going fishing with Phil this past summer, even though we didn't catch anything, we had an awesome night of reminiscing, and storytelling. Phil had a gentle spirit who loved to meet new people and share his faith. Heaven has gained another angel from the 10th Concession of Egremont.(Southgate), God Bless you all. Deb, Lori, Chris & Mike.. Our deepest condolences on Phil's passing. Whenever we saw Phil he was always so cheery, friendly and positive, even when he was in significant pain. I am sure he will be greatly missed by all of you and all of his many friends. Even when things were tough he stood strong in his faith and was always thankful. Although he will be very much missed it is comforting to know that his suffering is over and he is now with his Saviour. Love, Dwight & Judi

Dear Debbie and Family; Our most Sincere Sympathy to all of you. I will always remember my chats with Phil...he often didn't feel well, but would always try to find a way to make both of us smile. Bob didn't know him as well as I but also remembers his smile. He coped with his health issues as a brave man and you, Debbie were the love of his life and wonderful caregiver. He loved his grandchildren as he would often talk of them He is at peace, free from pain which may be of some comfort to you. May your happy memories and knowing so many care be of comfort to all of you. Due to us both having nasty colds, we will not attend the visitation or service for fear of spreading germs. Again, our Sincere Sympathy, Bob and Mary McIntee

Dear Debbie: I was devastated to hear of Phil's passing. I will never forget how much he helped Mick when he was so sick. They would talk for hours on the phone and it would lift Mick's spirit. Phil was always so positive no matter how bad he felt....a kind and gentle soul. Sadly I won't be able to attend Phil's services as I am recovering from a health crisis myself and only a few days out of the hospital so my doctor has vetoed travel. I will be there in spirit though. I wish you strength and comfort at this difficult time.

Dear Debbie, We are so very sorry to hear the news of Phils passing. We will always remember the good times we had on our many camping trips way back when. Phil was so much fun to be around. Even though we lost touch over the years, it was good catching up with him in these past few years. He always had great stories to tell and we would reminisce about our years growing up together. We will always remember Phil with great fondness. Our condolences to you and all of your family.

Dear Deb, Lori and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Phil. What a great guy I had the pleasure of getting to know over the past few years from living on the farm and being neighbours to running into Phil here and there around the town. He was always so loving and caring with a kind heart and soul. He would always ask about my family and how everyone was doing and what they were doing. He will be so missed by you and so many. What a wonderful person he was and when I think about Phil, I smile. God Bless you all! Linda
