Reed, Virginia; at Birmingham Community Living, Mount Forest on Saturday November 23, 2013. Virginia Clarice (Brodsky) Reed, formerly of Tobermory in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Reed. Loved mother of Virginia Haggerty of Kingston, Suzanne Milatz of Elmira, Georgia Cox & husband Grant of Las Vegas and Joseph Reed & wife Jane of Mississauga. Cherished grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Kuethe & husband Ralph of Falls Church, Virginia. Survived also by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by son-in-law Sam Haggerty, granddaughter Dawn, two brothers and two sisters. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Tobermory United Church, 9 Brock Street, Tobermory on Saturday May 24th at 10:00a.m. Inurnment at Dunk 's Bay Cemetery, Dunk 's Bay Road following the service. A reception will then be held at the Tobermory Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 290 7437 Highway #6 Northern Bruce Peninsula at 12noon.Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. Your mom was a very thoughtful and caring woman. She loved seeing our kids at Hallowe'en and treated our family as her own. We will always be thankful to your mom and dad for their kindness and sharing their lives with our family.We miss them both.
