Aunt Madeline so sad to know you have lost such a wonderful man. I am happy that we spent some time with you last summer it reminded me of what marriage should look like. The love you two shared was how love should be defined. We will all miss him with you. You can take comfort in knowing that he has now been restored to perfect health. When I married Art in 2001, I acquired a warm, welcoming new family, including a clan of totally amazing sisters- and brothers-in-law. One of those loving, funny, kind, generous folks left us on Thursday and the hole he has left in our hearts and souls is enormous. Roger, it was my privilege to share a small part of your life, and your memory will always be special to me. I hope that God’s plan will someday allow us to meet again. Rest in peace.

Sadly Uncle Roger went to be with the Lord on Sept. 5th. He was a gentle man who had a wonderful sense of humour who touched our lives in a very special way. He and Aunt Madeline would bake bread and compete as to who made the best...sorry Aunt Maddy, but Uncle Rogers was the best! No one could hug like Uncle Roger, he would lift you off your feet. He loved to play scrabble and no one could beat him! We will miss him dearly and are thankful for all that he added to our lives. Out thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Madeline at this difficult time.
