O'Brecht, Helen Geraldine; at Wellington Terrace, Fergus on Sunday June 29, 2008. Helen Geraldine'Gerry' (Gilmartin) O'Brecht, formerly of Mount Forest in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne O'Brecht. Loved mother of Rosemary Thoms of Mount Forest, Elizabeth Reid & husband Ross of Southampton, Larry O'Brecht & wife Helen of Mississauga, Judi McDougall & husband Dwight of Ottawa, Paddy O'Brien & husband Andrew of Orangeville and Jim O'Brecht & wife Karen of Georgetown. Loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and survived by her 2 sisters and 1 brother. Predeceased by 2 grandchildren and 4 sisters. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. A Prayer Vigil will be held on Wednesday at 4:00p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary service will be held on Wednesday at 6:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Purification Church, Mount Forest on Thursday at 11:00a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
