When I first met Earl in 1998 when I first moved to Mount Forest he made me feel that Mount Forest is a great place to live and whenever I met him after he always had a story or a joke to share. Once when Earl was in Holland I just happened to turn on the TV and there was Earl being interviewed. When I met him after I told him about him being on TV and he said how happy he was to be able to tell of his experiences during the war. May you find your fond memories of the life of Earl a great comfort.

To- Larry, Kerry, Patti, Kim & all your families Please accept my regrets, as we were unable to attend Uncle Earls visitation or funeral. I have been thinking of Uncle Earl the last few days & have many fond memories. Some of my best memories are from when we were kids & visited back & forth. Also the threshing gang. The little John Deere tractor was a topic of many conversations. The Uncle Earl I knew, always had a very positive attitude and a great sense of humour. I hope that all of you can celebrate the life & memories of your Dad. Our thoughts are with you.
