Mary I. McIntee

McINTEE, Mary I. - Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 16th, 2023. She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” McIntee. Loving mother to daughters Cynthia Coulis (Brian), and Stacia Khales (Payman). Predeceased by her infant son, Paul (1970). Mary was the first born to Hilda and Wilfred Brick (predeceased) in Cargill Ontario in 1946. Mary is survived by sisters Shirley (Jack), and Susanne, brothers Jim (Sharrie) and Jeff (Heather), and sister-in-law Lenore.  Predeceased by Joseph, John and Derrick Brick, and Paul Zipple. Mary was a devoted wife to Robert McIntee for 57 years.

She was active in the St. Mary’s parish, and the community of Mount Forest for many years. She loved and she cared for many neighbors and friends, and was loved by them all. Mary was an active member of the CWL, Kinettes, Big Sister’s and an ostomy support group. She loved to travel, and she cherished her family time the most. Her pride and joy was making memories with her grandchildren. Known as “Nana” to Wade, Ivy, Eddie and Mia. She will forever be remembered for her generosity of time and attention. We cherish the many photos Nana captured of these special moments.

Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 1:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Purification Roman Catholic Church, 310 Parkside Drive, Mount Forest, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation at the church from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mount Forest. Dear uncle, Bob and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Aunt Mary was always so upbeat and happy when the family could be together. I’ll never forget the little family reunion picnics we used to have usually in Formosa. Sending you prayers during this difficult time, love, Sandy.

I learned of the sad passing of Dear Mary this afternoon from a call from Bob.

What an amazing couple and we have been very strong friends since my youth. Always very supportive and so so kind.

My bride Carol and I have had the pleasure of their company in our home in Alberta a few times and we were hoping for a future visit.

Bob my dear friend, my heart ❤️ is saddened for you and the girls & family.

Heaven, is even more heavenly now with Dear MM from M St in MF as she often said.
