BARTEL, June Elaine – Passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 27, 2026 in her 93rd year.
Loving and devoted mother and grandmother of Larry Bartel, the late Stephen Bartel (1989), Mark Bartel and his family, and Victoria Bartel and her family. The Best Big Sister of Ken Diebel (2014) and his wife Gail (2022), Ted Diebel and his wives the late Bessie and the late Pauline, Marion McKenzie and her husband Jerry, Jim (2000) and his wife Marjorie, Helen Harris and her husband Richard, Dan Diebel (2019) and his wife Heather, Joyce Lindsay and her husband Andy (2025), and Bob Diebel and his wife Janet. Cherished aunt to her many nieces, nephews, and their families.
June was a dedicated nurse in Ontario and British Columbia for 60 years.
A memorial service will be held at the Guelph Bible Chapel, 216 Silvercreek Parkway South, Guelph, on Thursday, August 13th at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to the church hall for a reception. Inurnment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Guelph. If you are unable to attend the service in-person, you are invited to view the livestream by clicking the link below.
